Meet Nyela Hope
Q. Tell me a little about yourself. Describe your background and how long you have worked for the agency.
My background includes teaching, training, and coaching in child care, family support programs for military families over 20 years. I have been with Positive Spin for six months.
I am very proud to be a Veteran, mom, and grandmother.

Q. How do you help families?
I provide high quality financial education classes designed to equip Positive Spin clients with knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions. As a Healthy Eating on a Budget facilitator I teach classes that promote healthy eating for better health. I use my knowledge of nutrition to help others learn to make healthy food choices and plan meals that support their overall health and longevity.
Q. Why do you do what you do?
I love the work that I do. Through training and education families are empowered to take charge of their lives and move more confidently in the direction of their dreams. With increased knowledge clients are better equipped to teach their children and families financial literacy and healthy eating.
Q. Why should I care about what you do for families?
Financial literacy is important in anyone’s life. Families learn to budget and make responsible decisions. Empowered families are happy families.
Q. How has a family's life changed because of you?
Many families I’ve trained have told me they’ve started their own savings plans and will teach their children about saving.
